My last giveaway was so fun I thought I’d do one more for the holidays. The prize this time is two of my wooden dolls, complete with vintage fabric doll clothes that I just sewed yesterday. The dolls are solid maple and finished with food grade beeswax. My kids, nieces and nephews have been playing with these doll sets for a couple of years now. They especially like taking the velcro clothes on and off.

If you want to be entered to “win” this pair of dolls then simply leave a comment on this post. (Make sure your post contains an email or link to your blog so I have some way of contacting you if you win.) On Friday morning (December 10) I will randomly pick the winner from all those who have left a comment.  I will ship world-wide so anyone can enter if they’d like!

UPDATE: The contest is over. See results on the following post!

I love the idea of using food-grade beeswax to finish these dolls! My daughter sticks *everything* in her mouth still, and I'm always worried about whether the finish used is safe for her!

I love all your creative ideas. I made a play set of fishes inspired by your drift wood fish. I keep it in my office exam room for the children who come to visit me. Simple toys are always the best. I love these little dolls and I think they would make a great addition to my office cache of simple toys. Thank you for all your inspiration.

My sister send me your way :). These would be fabulous for my son Hugo to use in his therapy sessions. Taking the clothes on and off would be great for his fine motor skills and they could use them for play therapy. Jen (jenaronson@gmail.com)

These are just great! I would love to have them, although I know my little kiddos would take over quick. The vintage clothes are fabulous, and awesome that you made them velcro for little hands. Thanks for the giveaway!

Joel, what can I say … so cute!
If I win, I will give this beauties to my friend Charlotte who will visit Ethiopia in January. She can leave the dolls in YeDanja Bet, a place were children can stay when their mum is not able to take care for them. My friend Dianne is working there and does a good job! In time, the mothers return when they found a job and can take care for their kids by themselves.
