The kids got some new construction paper for a Christmas gift last night, so we made finger puppets this morning. You can see on their faces the excitement and wonder they had for the tiny puppets. They had a great time acting out really funny scenes and stories. A super fast craft with fun results!
Wow! I will be back to your blog to be inspired for craft projects with my kids! Thanks!
Such a simple idea, yet you can see the pleasure they take it them. And oh! those pudgy fingers!
Just stopping by for the first time !! Love the atmosphere here, and for once, you're a man !!! ;-)

this is great! i'm an art student living in dorms and when i start getting bored i need a non mess craft to pass the time. i have a big book of construction paper and just made a couple finger puppets on my own.
cool. yeah they are surprisingly fun to make. I'd like to shoot a little video puppet show with the ones we made. that would be pretty cool.
I made the finger puppets out of construction paper and magazines today. At the moment my 2 year old is having a nap with finger puppets on his hands. he loved them so much! Thanks for the ideas.
We love the city scenes and we were wondering if you could make someone in a wheelchair to add to the people.
Thanks for sharing your work with us.
Anonymous – Yes! I'm actually making a Paper City "expansion pack" quite soon, so I will add this in. Great idea!
