I thought it would be fun to make a Paper City Dinosaur set using the designs from the music video I just made for my sister Lori. You can print all of the templates out below. And feel free to encourage your kids to draw their own favorite dinosaurs to add to the set!

If you haven’t seen the video yet, you can watch it below. It basically shows me drawing all of the images that came to my mind while listening to Lori’s wonderfully descriptive lyrics. Hope you and your kids enjoy it!

Also, here is an iTunes link to Lori’s full album if you’d like!

Templates below. Click on the images, then print.

  1. Hi Joel, thanks a lot for sharing such a great video with us. I am really delighted to hear such a beautiful song sung by Lori. And more than that, I really surprised to see your quality. How do you draw such a worthwhile picture like that? That’s really very interesting. Again thanks a lot, you are genius.

Thanks! Perfect! My son is home sick today but I am realizing he isn’t THAT sick. This will be great in about 27 minutes when the novelty wears off ;)

    HI
I am a teacher and your nativity scene cut outs have been brilliant, the children have loved using them to act out the story.
    Thank you

  4. You are a genius! This is so freaking adorable. I was looking for little craft ideas for kids and found this. It’s the little things that make life awesome! Pun intended.

This comment is from my son who is a big fan of your website. :)

I like all of your paper toys very much! I think you should make an Ancient Egypt paper toy with pyramids, pharaohs, mummies, and the Sphinx. My sister, Leah, thinks you should make ballet printout toys too! It would be very cool to see our ideas on your website!

    1. Hi Kelly. Thanks for writing! Really cool idea about the Ancient Egypt Paper City. I’ll put that on my to-do list! Also my daughters both love ballet. That would be really fun too! Thanks for all of the inspiration!
