I’ve created a brand new Made by Joel Facebook Page. The idea is for it to be a community space where we can all share art, crafts, design, toys, and projects for kids. I love seeing all of the photos and links to many of your crafts, or Made by Joel crafts. Now, if you’d like, you can upload your craft photos to the Made by Joel Facebook photos, so we can all get ideas from each other. (Click the Like button, then you can upload your photos on the “Wall” tab, and they will appear in the Fan Photos Album in “Photos”.)
Another nice advantage is that I can post all of my craft templates and coloring sheets (in higher resolution) in one convenient space, so you can download them all without having to search through my blog archives. The page is open to the public, so even if you don’t have a Facebook account, you can visit and download images.
I think it will be a nice compliment to the blog, and I hope you’ll enjoy it! There will be much more to come, but check it out here if you’d like: www.facebook.com/madebyjoel.
What a great idea – let me know how/when I can start sharing my projects :)
Ah, I thought there was a "create album" button for you guys too, but actually, all you need to do is upload your photo on the "Wall". (Select the Wall tab and click on the "Photo" button.) Once your photo is uploaded it will appear in a "Fans Photo Section" in "Photos". Cool!
Simple but not obvious. Glad I got that figured out!
¡muchisimas gracias, joel!
i have a nephew(10yrs.) who has aspergers. somewhere on your site i found the movie wheel project. he has always been fascinated with the idea of stopping action with a camera, then flip books ( makes his own. over 100) and making videos. He is using the movie wheel for his Science Fair project! I hope I can share photos. he knows all about your blog and frequently asks, "has the joel guy made anything new?"
he also made the cloth hand puppets for his cousin!
i best stop…….. :*)
there is one other story i have to tell (another time) that just gave me
goose bumps….. about drawing little people . . .
cristina – That's a very kind story. I would love to see photos from the Science Fair! And the quote, "has the joel guy made anything new?" is wonderful. I better get to work! Thanks again for the nice note.
